Family and Friends Test changes – Manual input ends 1 October 2025
16 June 2025
After reviewing the cost-effectiveness of manual data input for the FFT system, Envoy has decided to stop offering this service from 1 October 2025. This means teams can no longer send paper forms to the CIL for entry. If you still collect paper responses, you can input the data yourself using your team’s FFT link.

Protected characteristics data

We all have a role to play in improving healthcare and we need to collectively improve our data collection on protected characteristics (age, disability, gender reassignment, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation, and marriage or civil partnership) to make sure our services are inclusive and equitable, identify inequalities, and inform service development. This data is important and is used to personalise care, remove barriers to accessing services, and understand our community need.

Joanne Welsh fundraising for Alzheimer's Research

Congratulations to Jo Welsh, Chief Nursing Informatics Officer (CNIO) who has raised an incredible amount of money for Alzheimer's Research UK, by cycling 70 miles from Blackpool tower to the Liverpool Liver Buildings in a single day on Saturday, 14 June. The total raised this year so far currently stands at £13,429

Fertility consultation launch

NHS Cheshire and Merseyside Integrated Care Board (ICB) has launched a six-week public consultation on proposed changes to local fertility treatment policies, running from 3 June – 15 July 2025.
