Over the past year, Mersey Cares has been supporting the Occupational Health and Wellbeing service's ‘Pause for Thought’ menopause campaign, thanks to funding from NHS Charities Together.
This has included providing merchandise for the team to distribute at events such as this week’s Menopause Roadshow and supporting the delivery of training sessions and seminars to support staff as well as funding the distribution of sanitary boxes.
The forward thinking campaign earned national recognition, being shortlisted in three categories at the Menopause Friendly Employer Awards 2024: ‘Most Open Culture,’ ‘Best Engagement Approach,’ and ‘Best Trained Workforce,’ which the Wellbeing Team and Mersey Cares attended last month.
