Lucy Potter, Mersey Care Apprentice Dietitian, has won CN Magazine Student of the Year. Lucy won against Dietetics and Nutrition students throughout the country by being voted as a student that has excelled during their studies and standing out from the crowd from (2024-2025). She will be attending an awards ceremony in London to collect her prize. Congratulations, Lucy on this fantastic achievement!

As we step into autumn, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved, get active, and raise funds for our specialist mental health and community services. Choose from the Women’s 10k, Wirral 10k, Run Alton Towers – a 10K (or junior race) around the famous theme park with access to all of the rides, and Run Aintree – various distances around the iconic race circuit! This Sexual Health Week, we’re encouraging staff to support young people in accessing clear, inclusive, and non-judgmental information about sexual health. Our School Health Portal offers resources on contraception, consent, LGBTQ+ support, online safety, and STI prevention.
