On 13 December, Antonia Bennett, care practitioner based in Norris Green District Nursing Team, detected a gas leak during a patient visit. Despite the patient’s reluctance to leave, Antonia ensured her safety and contacted the Emergency Gas Service. The leak, from a recent repair, could have led to an explosion. Thanks to Antonia’s quick action, the patient and surrounding area were safeguarded from a potential disaster.

Some of you may have received a letter from Payroll explaining that the payroll calculations for the back pay for bank staff annual leave back pay for the period from April 2024 to September 2024 were based on 2023 data.

The Information Commissioner’s Office Ripple Effect campaign aims to raise awareness of the significant impact that data breaches can have on individuals and communities.
