This year's theme will be "listening to and hearing service user voices ". We will be hearing from various service users from across the trust about their experiences of services and our profession, we will also be hearing about how service users have gotten involved in some of our research projects in the past

Please join us for our Celebratory NMAHP Research and Innovation Forum Event on the 18 November at Indigo. The event will celebrate some of the achievements of our members over the last 12 months and hear about their journeys, we will also be joined by some external partners who will share some exciting opportunities relating to research, innovation, and in particular digital innovation.

We are raising awareness of Freedom to Speak Up this October, meet our guardians and learn the importance of speaking up.

We have arranged the following sessions in collaboration with St Helens Deafness Resource Centre. The Deaf Awareness training is designed to promote positive action by helping participants understand the barriers that can exist between hearing and Deaf individuals, and how to reduce those barriers and challenge discrimination.

A warm welcome to Steven Christian, he was appointed Chief Strategy, Planning and Partnerships Officer in September 2025. He has operated at NHS Board level for seven years with a total of 18 years’ experience across NHS senior leadership roles and brings a wealth of knowledge, skills and expertise. During his career, Steven has led several large-scale transformation programmes for clinical services and has developed a track record in delivering performance improvements across key services including urgent and emergency care.
