Accessing NEWS2 Part B
30 June 2025
Part B NEWS2 is a competency assessment and is now available to book for band 3’s and above. The sessions will take place in the Clinical Skills / Vaccine Centre in training room 1, currently there are 6 sessions per day (Monday to Friday) being provided.

Navigating your research using heathcare databases

Your access to researching on the healthcare databases is changing slightly. Emcare on Ovid and Cinahl on Ebsco also cover Nursing and Allied Health professions. Medline is available on Ovid and EBSCO. Social Policy and Practice on Ovid also covers Public Health journals.

Liverpool Interdisciplinary Neuroscience centre launch
13 June 2025
Liverpool Interdisciplinary Neuroscience centre is a research centre for translational and clinical neuroscience research launching this July. Mersey Care staff are invited to the launch event happening on Wednesday 9 July at the Yoko Ono Lennon Centre in Liverpool.
