Saying goodbye to the last resident at Leonard Cheshire Home

The resident was well known to our Garston nurses who have looked after him for seven years, they visited him three times a day, seven days a week. They saw him on his last day to say goodbye and take him gifts bought by the team.

Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital is pleased to announce the appointment of James Sumner as its new shared Chief Executive. James will assume joint leadership responsibilities at LHCH from 1st April 2025, alongside his role as Chief Executive of NHS University Hospitals of Liverpool Group (UHLG).
