Update to the Ward Guardian inclusion criteria

We’ve been rolling out the Ward Guardian tool to teams across the Trust for over a year. From using the tool, we’ve been able to support managers and teams with their roster practices, improve roster performance and been able to easily identify and rectify issues.

Women encouraged to download new NHS health app

As Cervical Cancer Prevention Week 2025 gets underway, women across Cheshire and Merseyside are being encouraged to download a new free NHS app to help them find trusted health information. The app contains advice and guidance on all aspects of female wellbeing, from periods and contraception, screening information, menopause to pelvic health, immunisations, and pregnancy.

Southport incident update
24 January 2025
Yesterday, Axel Rudakubana was sentenced to minimum of 52 years in prison for the murders of Elsie Dot Stancombe, Bebe King and Alice da Silva Aguair, he was also convicted of further charge related to the incident in Hart Street.
