Supporting newly qualified professionals

Key groups: Newly Qualified Staff -Adult, MH, LD & Child Nurses, TNA. OTs, Physio, Dietitians, Pharmacists, Social Workers

The Trust is currently in the process of reviewing its approach to supporting newly qualified professionals as they start employment with Mersey Care. To support this work the Preceptorship Development Team are holding a number of short workshops with staff who support or work alongside newly qualified professionals. During these workshops they aim to gain your views and understand your perceptions of the priorities for new registrants within the first year of qualification helping to shape the domains of learning for the new preceptorship package. Each workshop will be no longer than one hour and will be delivered online via Microsoft Teams.
