It is a legal requirement that all practitioner psychologists are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). This registration needs to be renewed every two years.
Renewal of registration for all Practitioner Psychologists happens this year.
The renewal window opened on the 1 March and all registered psychologists should have received an email this week informing them of this. If you have not received an email, you should check your HCPC account and ensure your contact details are up to date.
Registration closes on the 31 May.
Remember that it is your responsibility to be registered and it will be illegal for you to continue to practice after 31 May if you have not renewed your registration.
