    Allied Health Professions Day

    The 14 October marked AHPs’ Day, and our conference was held at Aintree Racecourse. The national theme for this year is quality and safety and emphasises the importance of providing exceptional care to the people and communities we work alongside.

    Mersey Care successfully transitioned which means that all statutory Mental Health Act forms (for services using Rio only) must be completed using Thalamos.

    New process for safeguarding pressure ulcers

    21 October 2024

    Following the launch of the new prevention and management of pressure ulcers Trust policy, there is an updated section on safeguarding considerations and to offer a clear process for staff. A new procedure has been introduced which will involve the completion of a new safeguarding template on EMIS known as the Adult Safeguarding Decision Guide.

    Learning and Development updates

    21 October 2024

    Learning and Development have a new reporting column currently on the Business Intelligence Training reports, this will provide a separate Key Performance Indicator of 90% for managers to monitor performance, but it will not affect any other overall performance in other training areas such as divisional training.
