These new group sessions developed by Occupational Health and Wellbeing Services are designed to compliment our existing menopause support. They purpose to provide information about how menopause can affect life, relationships and work, whilst also providing practical advice for the things you can do to help with symptoms.

This session is for anyone who ever wanted to know more about menopause.  The content aims to help identify symptoms of menopause, the impact upon daily life and understand the importance of supporting colleagues, partners or friends during this stage.

The expected duration of the session is approximately 45-60 minutes and run over Teams.

The aims of this session are to identify the value of making adaptations to our eating habits. Some simple steps can have many benefits to managing the symptoms of menopause and support the body during this stage of life.

This session looks at the importance of moving more during menopause and how even the simplest forms of activity when added up, can make great benefits to your wellbeing and can help support the management of menopausal symptoms.

Stress can take a real toll on our bodies and our minds during menopause. The hormonal and physical changes experienced can have a really negative impact on how we feel and how we function. This session looks at ways in which we can reduce harmful stress and manage those situations more positively.

The expected duration of the session is approximately 45 minutes and run over Teams.

This session looks at how hormonal changes and the challenges of symptoms, can impact upon a sexual relationship. It explores the bodily changes that can make sex difficult and looks at the things you can do to ease discomfort.

The groups will be run by our team of Health and Wellbeing Facilitators whom have previous experience of running group based programmes of this type and have the knowledge to provide the appropriate advice to support your wellbeing.
