We’re inviting staff to join us in hosting a ‘Time to Talk’ coffee morning with their teams on Thursday 6 February (or any time to suit throughout February).

Launched in 2014 by Time to Change and supported by leading Mental Health charities Mind and Rethink Mental Illness, the Time to Talk campaign seeks to end mental health stigma and discrimination and create supportive communities by having conversations with family, friends, or colleagues about mental health.

The event is also a great opportunity to introduce a fundraising element with all proceeds raised going to the Mersey Cares Staff Wellbeing Fund which will enable the charity to support staff wellbeing projects such as the ongoing Wellbeing Through Wildlife initiative, Wellbeing on Wheels and our support of the Trust’s award-nominated Pause for Thought menopause campaign.

There are a range of downloadable materials available on the Wellbeing Hub provided by Time to Talk which include great conversation starters, games and decorative items such as bunting.

Pop along to our flagship event at Hollins Perk!

On 6 February the Occupational Health and Wellbeing Team and Mersey Cares Charity Team will be hosting their own ‘Time to Talk’ event with coffee and cake between 11am and 2pm at the onsite restaurant at Hollins Park, called Hollins Perk.

Find out more about the event and register your team – plus download your Time to Talk event poster and related resources on YourSpace.

A small conversation about mental health has the power to make a big difference.
