The Nurse and Midwifery Council (NMC) standards for Specialist Practice will be introduced for SPQ and SCPHN programmes in September 2024.
Mersey Care will be moving to support trainees via an apprenticeship route for district nursing, health visiting and school nursing. If you are thinking of applying for these specialist programmes this year, please familiarise yourself with the ESFA apprenticeship mandatory requirements including evidence of your maths and english qualifications.
The Community Care division will be providing further information in due course and staff can access specialist practice assessor and supervisor events hosted by Liverpool John Moores University.
