As part of our Readying our People Programme of work, we are rolling out a new inclusive career conversation model – Scope for Growth. Some of you will recall using the 9-box grid or the Talent Picture/MYPCF colour rating for maximising potential conversations. The Scope for Growth model is a new model which replaces the 9-box grid and Mersey Care has been designated as an early adopter of the new model and approach to inclusive career conversations. Having a career conversation is a great way of focusing on your career aspirations and development needs. It is about having a great supportive conversation with your line manager and fulfils our people plan and people promise.
The roll out of Scope for Growth commenced in May this year and all those in roles Band 8C and above have been invited to undertake a Scope for Growth career conversation with their Line Manager by the end of September 2022. The Scope for Growth framework and all relevant documents/resources are now live on SharePoint and can be accessed via PACE 365 homepage. Our next cohort commencing in November 2022 is for all 8A’s and above to complete their Scope for Growth conversation. Future cohorts will be communicated over the next few months.
Bi-weekly training sessions for both individuals and their Line manager are available and can be booked via SECTION 3 - Learning and Development Prospectus.
