A new enhanced version of SharePoint for transactional forms will be launched on Thursday, 12 December 2024. The new features include improved design, simplified and user-friendly forms, more automation and improved reporting. Users and managers can also track the progress of their forms.

The new forms include:

  • Adoption Leave
  • Banking Details Change
  • Contractual Change
  • DBS Reimbursement
  • KIT Days
  • Leavers
  • Maternity Leave
  • Name Change
  • New Parent Support Leave
  • Out of Month Pay Adjustment
  • Purchasing Annual Leave
  • Defer / Release Pay Step
  • Return from Maternity / Adoption
  • Workforce System Access (ESR/Roster)
  • Temporary Staffing Request
  • Vehicle / Expenses registration
  • Work Related Absence

The launch will mean the existing transactional forms on SharePoint will be unavailable for five days from 7 December to 11 December inclusive. The downtime period is required to make sure the migration of all forms takes place. These dates have specifically been chosen to make sure there is minimal disruption after the payroll cut-off date.

The new SharePoint site is user friendly, and we do not anticipate any additional training will be required; however if any support is needed please contact: esradmin@meryseycare.nhs.uk

A couple of points regarding migration:

  • Approvals: any manager approvals for forms submitted pre-April 2024 will be deleted if they have not been actioned
  • Historic forms: any forms completed pre-April 2022 will not be migrated but will be archived so they are available upon request.
