350 Enhanced EDS Dysphagia Level 2 e-Learning
Level 2 Enhanced Dysphagia Training was launched in October 2023 and is targeted at colleagues who provide direct support to individuals who have or are at risk of eating, drinking and swallowing difficulties (Dysphagia) and will provide training of their involvement as highlighted by their role.
The training can be completed either by a face to face session, bookable via the Prospectus and it is now available as an eLearning module.

Anyone with the competency requirement that hasn’t already completed the classroom training has been automatically enrolled to the eLearning package as another option to achieve the competence.
350 Enhanced EDS Dysphagia is already on the training records of staff that are required to undertake the competence.
Changes to fit testing FFP3 masks
In preparation for the Fit Testing to be reintroduced for key clinical colleagues, the competency will be visible again for some colleagues.
The requirement for the training is part of a local and national response to an increase of measles across the country and our region.
