Language Line have created a quick survey for staff who use the Translation and Interpretation Service to complete.
The survey closes at the end of October 2023.
Face to face bookings – new method to book
Language Line’s acquired Capita Translation and Interpreting and in line with their programme of continuous improvement, from the 1 September, they what to enhance to face to face booking process by moving away from Interpreter Intelligence to their new system – LiveLINK In-Person. (Most changes are taking internally in Languages Line.)
So what will change?
- The name: LiveLINK In-Person
- A new URL for user access – this will be shared when the system is live for making bookings. We will also direct existing access links to this, so that users can access the system through the links they currently use.
- Improved user dashboard
- Unlimited user access
- A further enhanced pool of highly qualified, experienced and specialist interpreters.
When clicking the access link, users will notice the slightly different appearance of the login window. Existing users can use their current username in the login field. For security reasons, we are asking you and your teams to reset passwords. This can be done by clicking ‘forgotten password’. Password reset instructions will be sent to the email address that is used for booking confirmations.
Everything else will remain the same and so there is no action for you or your staff to take; the booking form will capture the same information as users are familiar with providing, there will be no change to your current billing process and your Account Manager and our Client Services Team remain on hand to support your requests and enquiries. All viewing, booking and reporting enablement for staff will remain as per the current status.
Thirty minute training and awareness session
Language Line have been running 30 minute training and awareness sessions to enable users to see the improved portal and for occasional users to refresh their knowledge.
There will be four sessions every Wednesday that started on 26 July and running until Wednesday 6 September. Additional dates will be shared soon.
These are free, drop in sessions which are open to all users. The timings and links for these are listed below. We have also produced some user guides for you and your end users to refer to, showing the booking fields and other functions with their new look and feel.
While we strive to continuously improve our service to our valued customers, we will always do so with minimal disruption as a priority. Users will receive updates via email and within the current booking portal, LanguageLine Solutions UK.
