Ward Guardian, the new information and monitoring tool, will be rolled out to the first final stage of Phase 3 teams from 8 May 2023 to services and teams on the attached list. As part of this phase of implementation, training on Ward Guardian will be provided aimed at rostering mangers and deputies. These dates are noted below.
Ward Guardian is a tool, to support managers in effective use of our rosters. The tool brings together relevant information regarding planned rosters which rostering mangers can use to make amendments to their roster before it goes live. We need rostering mangers to adhere to the four/ five parameters below.
Ward Guardian will monitor adherence to each principle and provide reports directly to rostering managers as to how well they are adhering to these principles. The table provides information on the principle, the target which will be used to measure if adherence has been achieved, and the rationale/benefits for the Trust if rosters comply with the principle/target.
