Our Practice Education Facilitators launched the Community Nursing Simulation Project in collaboration with the University of Liverpool. As part of the project, Community Nursing Ambassadors from our District Nursing services have developed realistic scenarios that staff and students may face during patient visits.
The ambassadors have played a key part in facilitating scenarios with 2nd year student nurses in the newly developed community simulation area at the university. The space has been designed to resemble a patients home with a view to build on existing knowledge, skills and education collaborations to develop and prepare our future workforce.
