From 1 August 2025, there will be changes to the way that moving and handling training will be delivered and compliance reported. Level 2 Moving and Handling of People will be completed via elearning and a new Level 3 training will provide practical training face to face.

Level 2 Moving and Handling of People - 2 yearly will be delivered by an elearning module - NHS|CSTF|Moving and Handling - Level 2 - 2 years.

The elearning module will replace the workbook and will provide the theoretical component for the learning for Level 3 training which some colleagues will need to complete in addition to Level 2 training.

Training will be provided for all clinical staff across all divisions who are involved in patient care.
