The way we use envoy to collect Friend and Family (FFT) responses will change over the coming months, there are going to be some small changes made to the Friend and Family service.

Within Mersey Care we currently use two envoy FFT systems (one prior to the merge with North West Boroughs and one after the merge). This was to ensure the right teams was collecting FFT responses. As we move forward, these systems will become one, with all teams using the new system. Currently, most teams are using the new system now and have been provided new QR codes, links and paper copies etc. No team data will be lost and information on the old system will still be available for things like QRV visits.

To avoid duplication of account usage on the old FFT system, access will be restricted on Friday, 15 November. Identified staff members have been emailed directly about this – any staff member who has been using the old log in system and has indicted they need a new account log in, these will be converted and new log in information will be sent directly to staff.

The Friends and Family team are working behind the scenes to ensure that teams still submitting on the old system are transferred over to the new system in a smooth process. We’ve set a deadline by the end of December 2024 for all teams to be on the new system.

If staff or teams do have any queries or questions, please contact: friendsandfamilytest@merseycare.nhs.uk

For info: The best way to identify what system your team is on – log onto envoy and check your team on the dashboard, if your team has your budget code showing, you are on the new system, if your team doesn’t show your budget code, you will be on the old system.
