Operational (Bronze) and Tactical (Silver) On Call Managers

All on call manager/incident commanders, are required to attend Mersey Care’s ‘Local Health Command Workshop’ which is delivered by a member of the Emergency Planning Team, via MS Teams. The aim of the training session is to support you to:

  • Understand the operational and tactical on call arrangements at Mersey Care
  • Understand levels of Commander responsibility when it comes to being on call
  • Be aware of the NHS Incident Response Levels
  • Understand Incident command, control and coordination
  • Understand who to notify when incidents occur.

If you haven’t attended yet, please could you book onto the next course as it is essential you have the latest training, information and documentation available to you.   The workshop dates are as follows:

  • 23 November, 10:30 – 12:30
  • 25 January, 10:30 – 12:30
  • 21 March 10:30 – 12:30.
