The Safeguarding Team have produced a training brochure which outlines the mandatory Safeguarding training requirements for staff.
In addition we are launching an offer of bitesize remote learning opportunities, commencing September 2022. These will be themed areas and accessible for any staff who feel they would benefit. For 2022/23 the themes are;
- Female Genital Mutilation/Harmful sexualised practices
- LAC/Unaccompanied Asylum Children
- Voice of the child including non-verbal child
- Self-neglect/Hoarding
- Safeguarding and Pressure Ulceration, Deep Tissue Injury and Moisture Related Skin Damage:
- Domestic Abuse
- Professional Curiosity/Respectful Professional/ Challenge/Resolution & Escalation
- Modern day slavery
