This plan provides a framework for Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust to ensure an effective response to new and emerging pandemics

The objective of this policy is to describe the framework for managing Clinical Audit and describes:- • The duties of all parties within Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust • The development of the Clinical Audit Plan • The Clinical Audit Process • The process for monitoring compliance with the standards of the policy

Mersey Care Mersey Care colleagues should be familiar with the process which must be followed for considering information arising from an allegation or concern about the behaviour of any employee working either directly or indirectly with children or vulnerable adult(s)

This policy is a set of guidelines for using social media to ensure all staff know what they are allowed to and prohibited from sharing and/or posting on social media channels in order to protect themselves, the Trust and its patients.

The purpose of this policy is to ensure that the use of Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) adheres to the principles of the Data Protection Act 1998, The General Data Protection Regulations 2018, Human Rights Act 1998, and other relevant legislation. THIS POLICY DESCRIBES THE APPRAISAL PROCESS WITHIN MCFT. IT ENABLES MANAGERS AND COLLEAGUES TO UNDERSTAND ITS PURPOSE AS A METHOD OF IDENTIFYING AREAS FOR INDIVIDUAL GROWTH, OBJECTIVESETTING, INFORMING PAY STEP PROGRESSION, SUCCESSION PLANNING AND ITS COMPLIANCE AS A TRUST KPI.

Policy is issued as a framework to support Information Governance and effective health records management.

The way staff manage the death of a Service User and how they support relatives is set out in this policy and procedure. The effective management of a death and the support provided to their families is of primary importance and can help all those involved gain resolution and come to terms with their loss in a safe and natural way. This Policy has been developed to provide a systematic approach to maintaining compliance with all guidance on this area. The Francis Report outlined several standards that should be met when a person who has been receiving in-patient care dies which relate to the certification of death and the assessment of whether all could have been done to either prevent the death or improve on the care of that person during the terminal stages of their life. The same standards also apply to Service Users in the community

To provider guidance to staff to enable Mersey Care NHSFT to comply with the new Provider Selection Regime when procuring (or sub-contracting) relevent health care services, in line with relevent legislation and national guidance
