The apprenticeship sessions are held on a monthly basis to help raise awareness of opportunities, gain an understanding of the support available and provide a forum where you can ask questions.

The sessions are aimed at:

  • Managers who want to find out more about how they can utilise apprenticeship pathways to recruit staff and to support existing staff with career development opportunities
  • Staff who are exploring their career development and seeking new opportunities
  • Staff currently on an apprenticeship programme who need some advice or support.

You can book onto a drop-in session via the booking form below or contact: apprenticeships@merseycare.nhs.uk for more information.

Between 17 October and  20 November 2025, we are hosting face-to-face drop-in sessions across the Trust to raise the profile of study opportunities to people in Band 3 & 4 roles in Allied Health Professions and their management.

These sessions have been created to highlight and promote the benefits of apprenticeships and related skills programmes, showcasing personal and professional progression opportunities and lots more.

Whether you’re growing your team, changing your career or just starting out, it all starts with skills. Apprenticeships and skills opportunities are available throughout the year for all learners, whatever their background, across professions and roles within the organisation.
