MM-SOP-SH-002 - St Helens Recovery Team Combined Operational Guidance
The guidance and standard operating procedures are based on Trust wide principles contained within the Patient Access Pathway and the Care Programme Approach policies, with localisation as required within St Helens Borough. The development of Recovery Teams are to offer a specialist multi disciplinary service for individuals over the age of 18 suffering with mental health problems that are of a sufficient severity or complexity to require specialist intervention and will work in close partnership with all other significant agencies. The St Helens Recovery Team provides core hours of a 9am-5pm Monday – Friday service. The Recovery Team accepts referrals from the Trusts secondary Adult Mental Health Teams, the Criminal Justice Liaison Teams, Older Peoples Service (for those with functional conditions) and the inpatient wards. Integrated teams with the local authority also accept direct referrals.
