AHP08 Suspected Head Injury SOP
The purpose of this SOP is to give staff members working within the division a process on how to manage a suspected head injury for patients within our inpatient and urgent care services. A standardised process reduces variation and ensures staff assess and manage suspected head injuries in line with evidence based practice, which leads to improved patient safety. The SOP aims to support the identification of a suspected head injury and escalation processes.
