MMP06 Transport, Transfer and Collection of Medicines
This procedure determines which processes should be followed routinely to transport medicines within and outside of the Trust, which processes should be followed to transfer medicines within the Trust and processes that must be followed when a patient collects their medication. It also provides guidance for exceptional circumstances when medicines cannot be transported in accordance with the Trust’s routine processes.
