The purpose of this policy is to provide information and guidance to Mersey Care NHS Trust directors, managers and staff on their responsibilities concerning health and safety at work. This policy applies to trust employees and anybody who is or may be impacted upon by work activities of the trust. The trust has a duty to ensure that all workplace risks are managed appropriately.
