Krystina Stanway, Assistant Director of Allied Health Professionals, has been appointed as the new Director of Professional Development and Innovation at the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.

Krystina will leave at the end of February and has been an invaluable member of the Executive Nurse and Therapy Team within Trust Wide Support Services. Please join us in congratulating Krystina on this fantastic opportunity and wishing every success.

Krystina said “I would like to say a big thank you to all the people I have worked with in Mersey Care over the last five years. I have had the privilege of working alongside some excellent clinicians who have championed patient-centred care, innovative practices, and compassion. I have learnt a lot from my various roles in Mersey Care and gained experience and knowledge from all those I have worked with. I have really enjoyed my time in the trust and look forward to taking all that I have developed forward into my new role as Director of Professional Practice and Innovation at the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapy.”

Good luck, we wish you well for the future.
