Christmas taxis are available if there is no other means of transport available on the below dates:
- After 6pm Christmas Eve
- Christmas Day
- After 6pm on New Years Eve
- New Years Day
Your booking will only be approved if deemed essential by your line manager (or other responsible person if your manager is not available) and a taxi code must be provided at the time of booking.

Once added to our system, staff will use the online form to book their taxis, an email will be sent to the manager for approval and then the taxi will be booked – eliminating the need to contact switchboard. We currently have it set up to contact Delta and Com Cabs – if you use any other taxi company we will need to contact them to ensure they can accept bookings in this way.
*Taxis must be booked at least 48 hours in advance*
After you have booked your taxi, if you have any issues with your booking please contact the taxi company directly.
Please note that you must provide your Mersey Care email address when booking as personal email addresses will not be accepted.
