Three Warm Hubs at The Life Rooms sites
The Life Rooms Warm Hubs in Walton, Southport, and Bootle have extended their opening times from 9.15am to 4.45pm to offer more hours of warmth and support to our communities over Winter. On selected days and times visitors and members can grab a free hot drink and soup, then access support from one of our social prescribing Pathways Advisors, or access learning opportunities on our timetables. Visitors can charge their phones for free, access our library spaces, socialise and build connections with others. The Life Rooms are open to all of our Mersey Care colleagues. Four Life Rooms in the heart of our communities
The Life Rooms are warm and welcoming spaces where visitors and members can access support like social prescriptions to help with the cost-of-living crisis and other practical issues, enrol on courses and find learning opportunities to understand and manage their health and wellbeing, and socialise and build connections with others. The Life Rooms Warm Hubs are also offering free hot drinks and soups on selected days and times. We have sites in Walton, Belle Vale (Lee Valley), Southport, and Bootle, and our services are open to all of our Mersey Care colleagues. International Day of persons with disabilities - 3 December
The International Day of Persons with Disabilities a day to promote the full and equal participation of persons with disabilities and to take action for the inclusion of persons with disabilities in all aspects of society and development.
