This Tuesday, we welcomed Dr. Ronke Akerele (Director of Culture Transformation from NHS England) to Mersey Care, following our 2nd year in the People Promise Programme. The Workforce and OE & L team delivered a comprehensive presentation to Ronke, showcasing our current initiatives and strategies around the People Promise agenda. Colleagues from Cheshire and Merseyside ICB were also present and the feedback were fantastic - we look forward to more collaborative work with our regional and national teams.
Dr. Ronke said ‘Overall, I was very impressed with your approach to improving culture, team development and the approach you have adopted to integrate diverse initiatives and priorities towards implementing the People Promise. It was good to observe a wider Board ownership for this agenda and hear evidence of Felicia’s experience of participating in the career development programmes including her preceptee experience of an inclusive and compassionate culture’.
