    Learning Disability Awareness and Reasonable Adjustment Training

    The trust is pleased to announce the launch of its Learning Disability awareness and reasonable adjustments training. The 3-hour session will provide an introduction to learning disability, health inequalities, and practical reasonable adjustments to supporting and promoting access to services.

    Increased capacity for urgent dental appointments

    14 July 2025

    In February 2025, the government announced a commitment to provide an additional 700,000 of new dental appointments for urgent and unplanned care, supported by some additional funding. These appointments have been made available through the delivery of additional dental sessions (for urgent/unscheduled dental appointments) at 124 local dental practices across Cheshire and Merseyside.

    Southport: one year on

    14 July 2025

    On Tuesday, 29 July at 3pm a three minute silence will be held to honour the lives of Alice, Bebe and Elsie. In respect of this deeply personal time, Sefton Council have asked that no floral tributes are laid at Hart Street or at school settings and encourage people to consider donating to local worthwhile causes.

    Warrington Summer Social

    Warrington Recovery Team hosted their annual Summer Social on Monday at Wakefield House. Cake, tea and lawn games were enjoyed and the team welcomed guests from PD Hub, Warrington Speak Up and Chaplaincy, which they work closely alongside.

    NHS Big Tea celebrations continue!

    More teams celebrated the NHS 77 Birthday this week. The Occupational Therapy team at Hartley hospital raised a fantastic £108 at their celebrations on Friday, while School Health Team 1 had a team bake off as part of their festivities!
