As of the 29 January 2024, the new neutral vendor model will be implemented across the Trust.
This new model means the Trust Temporary Staffing Team will put all requests for agency workers through one provider, Agile Workforce Solutions, who will then secure an agency worker for us through their network of agencies. This means that NO bookings can be made directly with the agencies.
To support this new model there is a change in process for approving shifts worked by agency workers. Training will take approximately 20 minutes and will ensure all managers are clear on the process of how to approve timesheets on the neutral vendor system (LMS).
This new process will remove the use of all paper timesheets for agency workers and the need for managers to sign them off for the agency worker to submit. This improves the process and reduces the risk of fraudulent timesheets being submitted which is a MIAA action.
Additionally, this new process will mean invoices are paid much quicker without manual intervention from multiple teams.
