HR Case Manager is an element within the Empactis system to assist managers with the monitoring, recording and the management of absence.

Case Manager goes live across Mersey Care later in 2024.

All other Employee Relations Cases (such as Maintaining Standards in a Just and Learning Culture (Disciplinary) and Respect, Civility and Resolution) will follow over the next few months.

HR Case Manager System is an integrated system with Absence Manager. It provides management and divisions with a complete integrated overview of all absence cases for their designated area or team. Case Manager aims to help managers to proactively support, monitor and manage all aspects of colleagues' physical, social and mental health and wellbeing.

Absence Manager will trigger a case in Case Manager for a stage 1 review when a colleague has three absences within a 12 month period or 10 consecutive days absence.

Case Manager creates a case and an email which is sent to the colleagues supervisor to invite the colleague to a stage 1 wellbeing meeting.

The system provides managers with a more holistic view of all absence related information enabling them to offer better and more timely support to colleagues.

All documents relating to existing absence cases should be sent to the current divisional e-mail address for absence prior to the launch date.
