Louise Edwards, Chief Strategy, Commissioning and Partnerships Officer is heading for pastures new and has been appointed as the Programme Director for Implementation and Insight for NICE.
Louise joined Mersey Care in 2012 and has since led the development of the Trust Strategy and Operational Plan. Her focus on wider health inequality data has meant the Trust has become more responsive to the needs of the many and diverse local communities we serve.
Prof Joe Rafferty CBE said “ Louise has been pivotal to Mersey Care’s successful development over the last 12 years through the very effective and diligent work she and her team have led on including strategy development, operational planning and contracting.
This work has brought enormous clarity to the Board, operational leaders and to our front line clinicians. Louise should be very proud of what she has achieved, and I am very grateful for her support over the years. I wish Louise every success in her new role."
Louise will leave the Trust at the end of June. We wish her well for the future.
