From 1 May 2024, the Trust will be introducing a fee for the use of the EV chargers. The charging fee is set at 36p per kWh, this rate comprises of the Trusts energy cost of 33p/kWh and a 3p/kWh admin charge (to cover management systems and maintenance). The charging fee will be reviewed annually to make sure the rate remains in line with Trust’s energy costs.
Staff should aim to limit their time on the charger to two hours and plan their charging around work schedules. The chargers are only for the use of Trust staff and fleet vehicles and use by the public is prohibited.
