Our executive team would like to thank colleagues who completed the most recent staff survey, providing valuable data and planning information. Senior leads are analysing the full results and over the coming weeks the data will be presented to the Trust Board of Directors, People Committee, Executive Team, Divisional and Senior Leadership Teams, and a demographic breakdown of results will go to the staff networks.

So far, the results indicate a significant drop in satisfaction regarding pay and working patterns since last year and there was a notable decline in those reporting instances of physical violence at work (-2.6 percent).

The trust continues to score well in the People Promise themes of compassion and inclusivity, and being safe and healthy, which increased slightly from last year. There was a 2.7 percent increase in staff saying they achieve a good home – life balance, and a 2.6 percent increase in people saying they can access the right learning and development opportunities. Also noteworthy is a 6 percent increase in people’s confidence that concerns raised would be addressed when compared with our comparator group average score.

We’ll be focussing on topics and issues raised in the weeks ahead and reporting back as action plans are formed.

You can see on this chart how we are doing based on our People Promise themes.
