Please note that in order to address a wider issue affecting the main IT infrastructure, a period of essential maintenance is to be carried out on Thursday, 22 February from 6am to 7am.
During this timeslot various components of the IT infrastructure will be re-booted to allow updates to be applied and you may experience a short period of time when you lose access to various IT systems.
Due to the nature of this work it is not possible to be precise regarding the exact timing of any outages on specific systems so please bear this in mind and prepare accordingly if working during this period, and ensure that any ongoing updates to files or data are saved in a timely manner. This includes Remote Access / staff working from home.
As a precaution, can all inpatient wards please print out MAC and MAPS in advance of the above period, to cover any medication requirements during this time.
Please note that telephones will not be affected.
