26 March is Purple Day, the international day for Epilepsy Awareness. There are increasing numbers of people within our services with a diagnosis of epilepsy.

Did you know?
- Epilepsy is the most common serious neurological condition
- It affects 50 million people worldwide with 600,000 in the UK
- 87 people are diagnosed with epilepsy every day, people with epilepsy will have seizures
- Nerve cells in the brain speak to each other via electrical signals and when the electrical signals are disrupted a seizure occurs.
