NHS People Pulse: Your voice counts, and we want to hear from you
Please take part in the People Pulse - our quarterly pulse check. It only takes five minutes to complete and closes on 31 January 2025. Your response can be submitted on the website at: www.nhspeoplepulse.com
Voices Heard, Actions Taken
After holding Your Voice Your Change mega conversations and focus groups during summer 2024, we’ve been working collectively to bring your suggestions and ideas to life. Many of you will have completed the NHS Staff Survey recently and while we wait for the results to be released, this quarter’s People Pulse is a good opportunity to better understand whether the actions we’re progressing are having a positive impact on your experience at work.
Some of the actions we’ve taken in response to your feedback include:
- Simplifying systems – we’ve launched updated, self populating SharePoint forms to try to reduce the administrative burden when recording workforce changes
- Use of space – we’re reviewing the Trust’s room booking system and piloting a different approach to how we allocate team space on some sites
- Communication – we’re refreshing the Trust’s YourSpace content to help make it easier for you to find the information and resources you need
- Workforce – we’re streamlining our onboarding processes to improve speed as well as finding ways to automate some aspects
- Staff networks – we have aligned an executive sponsor to each of our Trust’s Staff Networks, with a firm commitment to supporting and influencing positive change at Board level.
Completing the People Pulse
The survey takes only five minutes to complete, its anonymous and provides us with valuable feedback. Please share your views. When completing the survey, make sure you select Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust, along with your service line and team, so that your feedback is received by the correct organisation.
We’ve produced Guidance on locating your team and our YourSpace: People Pulse page also provides further information.
