The Trust has recently been rated on its annual performance around equality and human rights across three domains covering service delivery, workforce and leadership. This is done annually under the NHS England Equality Delivery System (EDS) 2022 framework, and we must publish these annually by 28 February, on the Trust’s website.
Eleven metrics are assessed across these three domains by internal and external stakeholders from across the full range of the Equality Act (2010) defined protected characteristics. Each metric is rated from 0-3 points based on how well we are meeting the needs of all the protected characteristics. A maximum rating would be 33 points, which equates to an overall Excelling rating. In 2024 to 2025, we scored 27 points, crediting us with a very high Achieving rating, with 6 out of the eleven metrics being individually rated as Excelling. This year’s improved scores reflect all the hard work being done across the Trust and our collaboration with our six Staff Networks, Staff Side, and external partners in the voluntary sector. Our results can be accessed on our website.
