On 28 March, M-RIC held an event in the Civic Health Innovation Labs (CHIL) to welcome our service user representatives and public advisors.
The event was organised and hosted by our Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) team. Key speakers included M-RIC Co-Directors Prof Iain Buchan and Prof Nusrat Husain as well as Dr Lesley Booth MBE, PPIEP Lead Coordinator for the Mental Health Mission, Don Bryant, M-RIC Lead Service User Representative, our work package lead researchers plus many more.
A highlight of the day involved several public advisors speaking powerfully about their hopes for M-RIC.
