We are hoping to identify any nurses who would be willing to record a quick video clip introducing themselves and speaking about the role they do - we are just looking for a couple of sentences from each person so very short clips.
The plan is to be put these together as part of a celebratory montage which we can share across our social media channels but also showcase at a celebration event that NHS Cheshire and Merseyside are planning on 7 May.
In terms of the video clips, we would just ask:
- Filming to be done in landscape (using a mobile phone or tablet)
- Away from any background noise
- Using a steady hand
- A couple of sentences opening with “I’m a nurse/midwife and I work……………….”
- Complete a consent form and send to us via We Transfer or direct as a video file to Communications

If we also have anyone who would like to be involved but maybe isn’t comfortable filming a video clip, then we would be happy to produce some quote cards and would just need:
- A headshot photograph
- A quote that says, ‘Who they are’ Where they work’ and ‘What being a nurse / midwife’ means to them
- Complete a consent form and send to: communications
