Important message from the Learning and Development Team

The Learning and Development team would like to remind all colleagues not to approach external training providers without liaising with the Learning and Development department first, please contact learninganddevelopment@merseycare.nhs.uk for any training related queries.

There have been instances whereby colleagues have been approached directly from external training companies which have not been accredited or approved by the Trust. It is important to contact the team in the first instance before making any further commitment.

A recent communication may have been received by some colleagues from a company known as ‘Pathways Associates CIC’ promoting a variety of their training courses, we would particularly like to point out the Oliver McGowan training offer and to advise that the only Oliver McGowan training being promoted internally is the eLearning package which all colleagues are mandated to complete, all other Oliver McGowan training is not currently mandated within the Trust.
