As the festive season is upon us, it's quite likely that our patients, service users, their families or carers and contractors may want to express their gratitude with gifts or gestures of appreciation.
In line with the Trust's Standards for Business Conduct policy, all staff are politely reminded not to solicit gifts and to decline gifts valued above £50, including money and gift vouchers of any value.
If you feel the rejection of their gift will cause offense or hurt, please escalate to your line manager in the first instance for advice and to ensure that gifts are declared in line with our Register of Gifts and Hospitality and our Standards of Business Conduct Policy.
