The Freedom to Speak up Team held their second Champions development day on 2 November.
The event enabled champions to further develop an understanding of the importance of their role, learn from others and develop a deeper understanding of what can help teams feel psychologically safe to share concerns locally and regularly.
The day was very well evaluated by those who attended, many just appreciated feeling that they belonged to an active network and requested that the events are held more frequently.
Attendees also very much appreciated the information shared by some of their colleagues who had spoken up previously. Their experiences underlined the importance of having champions locally who can support and guide people during this potentially difficult time.
