We have been fortunate to secure virtual training sessions around Trans awareness for any Trust colleague to attend. There are three date options but the session content will be the same. The trainers are specialists from Unique TransGender, with the lead facilitator Jenny-Anne Bishop OBE, being a member of the Welsh Health Advisory Board around gender variance, and she also sits on the Parliamentary Select Committee on Gender Identity. Jenny-Anne has also authored published health resources for NHS England around Trans and LGB+ healthcare.
The training sessions are three hours in duration and fall on :
- Tuesday, 22 October from 1pm to 4pm
- Tuesday, 29 October from 10am to 1pm
- Thursday, 31 October from 1pm to 4pm.
